A controller (40) converts a torque command value of an alternating current motor (M1) into an electric current command value and uses electric current control in which PI feed-back control is carried out to make a real electric current value consistent with the electric current command value. Further, the controller (40) sets a target flowing amount of cooling water flowing through a refrigerant path (50-56) in response to the converted electric current command value, generates a signal to drive a water pump (66) in order for the set target flowing amount of the cooling water to circulate, and outputs the same to the water pump (66). A rotating speed of the water pump (66) is controlled in response to a signal (PWR) of the controller (40) in order for the target flowing amount of the cooling water to circulate through the refrigerant path (50-56).
