PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayered ceramic electronic component which is compact and has a high capacity and a high withstanding voltage, and is effectively free from structural defects such as an interlayer delamination phenomenon. SOLUTION: The multilayered ceramic electronic component is comprised of inner layers 100 wherein internal electrode layers 3 and interlayer dielectric layers 2a are alternately stacked, and an intermediate layer 200 which consists of an intermediate dielectric layer 2b and is interposed between a pair of the inner layers 100. The average crystal grain diameter of ceramic grains which constitute the intermediate dielectric layer 2b is larger than that of ceramic grains which constitute the interlayer dielectric layers 2a.
