PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a conventional measuring device using plasmon resonance wherein the resonance angle can be measured accurately when disturbance such as mechanical noise arises or the accuracy and the dynamic range of the resonance angle is reduced when the effect of the disturbance is reduced. SOLUTION: This device employing the plasmon resonance has a dielectric film between a substrate and a metal film, measures the plasmon resonance between the side having a capture material of the metal film and the side opposite to the side having the capture material of the metal film, and determines the existence of the disturbances with reference to the plasmon resonance between the side having the capture material of the metal film and the opposite side to it.
