<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems wherein, in a water-circulating air cleaner using a porous membrane element consisting of flat cylindrical elements, the porous membrane part deforms by suction pressure or delivery pressure of a water circulation pump, to deteriorate cleaning performance. <P>SOLUTION: Water tanks 2, 3 are disposed at upper and lower sides of the porous membrane element 1 consisting of the flat cylindrical elements 1a, 1a, the water level of the upper water tank 2 is kept constant, and a constant volume of water is flown corresponding to a required head height H and flow resistance (passage clearance/wall face strength) in the porous membrane element 1 and pipes before and after the element 1. Water flowing out of the porous membrane element 1 is received by the lower water tank 3, and continuously circulated by returning it to the upper water tank 2 by the water circulation pump 9. Thus, the suction pressure and delivery pressure of the water circulation pump 9 do not directly act to the porous membrane part of the flat cylindrical elements 1a, 1a of the porous membrane element 1, to obtain a stable operation state with high efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
