PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molded item suitable for open-air flower pots, garden tables and chairs, etc., by injection molding a molding composition containing, as resin constituents, mixed resins of a specified polyester resin and a polyethylene at a specified temperature, and annealing it. CONSTITUTION:A molding composition that contains, as synthetic resin constituents, mixed resins of 20-70wt% thermoplastic polyester resin containing, as main repeating units, ethylene terephthalate, and having an inherent viscosity of 0.55 or more and a water content of 0.01-0.4wt% and 80-30wt% polyethylene, and if desired, also contains additives such as colorants for example dyes and pigments is injection molded at a molding temperature of 250-290 deg.C, and then is annealed to obtain the intended molded item. |
