PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of shortening down time of a partition occurring a failure and failure analysis time. SOLUTION: In a failure information analysis method for analyzing failure information with a computer provided with a plurality of logical partitions, the failure information analysis method comprises a step of storing information for indicating that an open memory area is used in the failure partition when an operating system is stopped due to occurrence of a failure at the part of the partition, and the information for indicating that the memory area occurring the failure is used in a maintenance partition in a memory unit; a step of restarting the failure partition by reading the information in the memory area to be used in the failure partition from the memory unit; and a step of comparing contents of the failure memory area by reading the information in the memory area to be used in the maintenance partition from the memory unit and analyzing the failure information.
