Disclosed are a bobbin fixing device of a simple structure capable of easily fixing a bobbin; and a bobbin removing device of a simple structure capable of easily removing a bobbin. A retaining piece (35) projecting to the outside of a rotating shaft (23) is moved to an inner position (P2) when its tilted portion is pushed by a bobbin (10), and the bobbin (10) is inserted to a position where a positioning member (25) is disposed. When the bobbin (10) abuts on the positioning member (25), both a release button (32) and a support member (34B) are moved upward by a spring member (33), the support member (34B) side of an arm (34A) is moved upward and the retaining piece (35) side thereof is moved to the outside, and the bobbin (10) is projected outward to a position where the restriction face (35c) of the retaining piece abuts on the bobbin (10). In this case, the retaining face (35B) of the retaining piece abuts on the upper surface of the bobbin (10) to restrict the movement of the bobbin (10) in the direction (Y-direction) that it comes out of the rotating shaft (23).
