A child support rail <B>10</B> comprises a grip portion <B>12</B> suitable for being held by a small child, and attachment portions <B>14,16</B> disposed at each end of the grip portion. The child support rail <B>10</B> is designed to attach to a door frame, enabling a child to safely support itself on accessing or leaving a doorway, for example, with a step. The rail may be attached to a door frame by fixings passing through fixing holes on the attachment portions of the frame. The attachment portions may be a continuation of the tubular member forming the grip portion. Saddle washers may be provided to seat the rail against the door frame. |
