<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing structured so that the inside surface of a housing is used as an outer ring raceway surface or the outside surface of the shaft is used as an inner ring raceway surface, having a high rated load and excellent effectiveness in handling or installing on a facility. <P>SOLUTION: The roller bearing is equipped with an inner ring 14 or outer ring 12, a plurality of rollers 16 placed on the inner raceway or outer raceway, a spacer 18 positioned between adjoining rollers 16, and a annular side plates 20 fixed to the inner ring 14 or the outer ring 12, in which the contact surface of the spacer 20 with the rolling surface of the roller is made in a recessed shape striding the pitch circle of the roller 16, wherein the end of the spacer 18 is restrained by the side plate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
