<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable resin that does not contain an additional component separately and has excellent biodegradability and impact resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The biodegradable resin has a structure in which a sugar chain and a polyolefin diol are bonded by an ether bond or an ester bond.
