PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cock device free of a damage of component parts or water leakage resulting from a dimensional error of the component part, a dispersion in the assembling accuracy, etc. SOLUTION: The water cock device 10 is equipped with a cock body 14 installed upright in the vertical direction on the installation surface of a member for installation, a water discharge part 15 extended in the horizontal direction from the cock body 14, a water flow passage formed over the area inside the cock body 14 and inside the discharge part 15, a vertical operation shaft 17 borne rotatably in the cock body 14, an operating lever 12 attached to the top of the operation shaft 17 for turning it, a valve supporting member 18 made of a resilient material installed in continuity to the cock body 14 in the region under the installation surface, and a valve unit 19 mounted on the valve supporting member 18, wherein further a buffer mechanism is installed to relieve any additional force other than the rotational force around the operation shaft 17 applied to the valve unit 19 by turning of the lever 12.
