<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector device where the attaching posture of an optically compensating sheet is easily adjusted, and besides which prevents needless force from acting on the optically compensating sheet after adjusting the attaching posture. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal projector device is equipped with: a light source; an optical system for separating a light beam from the light source to three primary color light beams; and a color composing prism for composing the three primary color light beams to color video light beam. A liquid crystal panel and a polarizing plate are oppositely arranged on the optical paths of the three primary color light beams respectively, and the rectangular optically compensating sheet for compensating the double refraction of a liquid crystal molecule in the liquid crystal panel is held by the optically compensating sheet holder and arranged between the liquid crystal panel and the polarizing plate. The optically compensating sheet holder is equipped with: a frame body 61 holding the optically compensating sheet; and a fixing member 62 attached to the edge of an optical system holding case 30 supporting the frame body 61 turnably centering around a rotary shaft nearly parallel with one of two diagonal lines of the liquid crystal panel and holding the optical system turnably centering a rotary shaft orthogonal to the optically compensating sheet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
