PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank which can efficiently stir ink in the ink tank, and to provide a recorder which can record high quality images by the ink of a uniform concentration. SOLUTION: A stirring member T2015 is supported to be able to freely oscillate at a position near an inner wall of an ink storing chamber. When the stirring member T2015 oscillates to be nearest to the inner wall, a predetermined gap is formed between opposed faces of the inner wall and the stirring member T2015.
