<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably damp or absorb microvibration of an electromagnetic control valve used for controlling delivery capacity over a long period. <P>SOLUTION: This variable displacement compressor has a cylinder head 8 storing the electromagnetic control valve 58, the electromagnetic control valve 58 stored in this cylinder head 8 and controlling the delivery capacity of the compressor, and a snap ring 62 for fixing the electromagnetic control valve 58 to the cylinder head 8.
