PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver for more properly discriminating a reception state of a digital broadcast program without the need for considerably revising the receiver configuration. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast receiver is provided with: an antenna 109 and an RF tuner 110 for receiving a digital television signal with a frequency among digital television signals; a decoding section 101 for decoding a received digital television signal; an error correction section 100 for correcting an error of the received signal in the decode processing; and a discrimination control section 102 for revising the settings of the RF tuner 110 to allow the antenna 109 and the RF tuner 110 to receive the digital television signal with another frequency on the basis of a processing result by the error correction.
