PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press button switch device for an automatic vending machine for making a packing for waterproofing to be mounted on a press button switch device for an automatic vending machine hard to come off during transport or assembly, and for illuminating the outline of a press button for an automatic vending machine by preventing illumination from a main body for the automatic vending machine from being disturbed by the water proofing packing. SOLUTION: This press button switch device for an automatic vending machine is configured of a case having a cylindrical part to be mounted through a water proofing packing on the mounting hole of the front panel of an automatic vending machine, press buttons assembled in the case, switch elements and a mounting board, and the cylindrical part of the case is configured of a groove part for preventing the water proofing packing from coming off from the cylindrical part by fitting a portion of the water proofing packing.
