Control of model vehicles has a combination of control components which are arranged inside and outside of the vehicle. In the vehicle, drive and adjusting device are to be arranged for the control. The vehicle receives their activating and adjusting parameters by radio communication from an external computer. The position (actual parameter) of the vehicle is also determined by the radio communication. New adjusting parameters are calculated and transmitted to the vehicle together with a reference parameter, which results from the parameter of an input device or from an automatically controlled performance and a roadway model. Independent claims are also included for: (A) Realization of roadways; and (B) Impact of effectiveness of the input device.
