<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively restrain nonuniform colors and color shifts and also restrain troubles caused by nonuniform rotation of a rotating member disposed in a process cartridge, which has a drive force transmission path independent of the path along which drive force is transmitted to an latent image carrier. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning member in an image forming apparatus main body includes a first positioning hole 72 in which the rotation shaft of the latent image carrier 10 in the process cartridge is inserted when the cartridge is attached, and a second positioning hole 73 in which the rotation shaft of the drive input gear 51 of a developer carrier is inserted. The size of the shape of the first positioning hole is almost identical to that of the rotation shaft of the latent image carrier, which is inserted into the first positioning hole. The size of the shape of the second positioning hole is larger than that of the rotation shaft of the drive input gear.
