PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the use of a resin shaft by preventing the pawl tip from shaving the shaft and thereby reducing the cost and weight. SOLUTION: A spring stopper 3 has a ring-shaped spring receptacle 31 provided internally with an opening 30 for insertion of the shaft, in which one end of a coil spring is abutted to the spring receptacle 31, and a plurality of shaft engaging pawls 32 are installed on the inside of the receptacle 31, wherein the pawls 32 are formed so that each has a portion 33 parallel with the axis B from the tip 32a to the part midway 32b.
