PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent colored resin composition for laser beam welding use expressing highly thermally stable dark-based achromatic color, with no decline in product design degree of freedom by injection molding, and applicable as a laser beam transmission-side molded form. SOLUTION: The colored resin composition for laser beam welding use is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin with (B) 0.01-5 pt(s).wt. of an Mn-free metal oxide such as cobalt oxide, a Co-Al compound oxide, Cr-Fe compound oxide or Co-Cr-Fe compound oxide.
