According to a priority correlated to each of MBMS bearer services, it is possible to effectively control reception of a multimedia content from the MBMS bearer services. There is provided a multimedia content providing method for providing a multimedia content by a broadcast communication or a multicast communication to a plurality of mobile stations UE. The method includes: a step for halting reception of a multimedia content from an MBMS bearer service having a priority lower than a multimedia content from a desired MBMS bearer service when reception of a multimedia content from the desired MBMS bearer service is to be started while the mobile stations UE are receiving multimedia contents from a maximum reception-enabled number or a predetermined number of MBMS bearer services; and a step for resuming reception of multimedia contents from the MBMS bearer service which has been halted after the reception of the multimedia content from the desired MBMS bearer service is complete.
