<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolutionary hinge device of a superior commodity value and electronic equipment using the hinge device. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge device connects a first member 1 to a second member 2 with flexible rotation, and has a cam part 4 and a cam-engagement part 5. The cam part 4 rotates with the rotation of the first member 1 which is provided with flexible mutual relative rotation about a rotary shaft part 3. Then the cam-engagement part 5, which is energized by engagement to the cam part 4 by an engagement-energization mechanism S, rotates with the rotation of the second member 2. Then a convexity provided on the cam part 4 and a concavity provided on the cam-engagement part 5 are engaged with each other by relative rotation, thus, the position of the rotation is retained by engagement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
