PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the changing operation for the position of a rotary valve in a changing mechanism for the change of the position of a rotary valve of an air driven tool. SOLUTION: The changing mechanism for the position of a rotary valve of an air driven tool is provided with one hollow tubular rotary valve 10 having a through-hole chamber 11 at its center, one changing valve lever 20 including one mounting part 21 and one operating part 22, one hollow tubular rotational-speed control valve 30, one trigger bar 40, one trigger 50 with a button structure, and one elastic component 60. The air driven tool can be changed into a state suitable for a user whose dominant hand is the left hand by the operation of pulling the changing valve lever 20 in the direction of the external trigger 50, turning the changing valve lever 20 in that state, and returning the changing valve lever 20 in the direction opposite to the trigger 50.
