PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable inspection device constituted of a simple transfer mechanism, and capable of preventing a defective and an uninspected object from flowing away/being mixedly included. SOLUTION: This inspection device is constituted of a unwinding reel 19 and a winding reel 20 for supplying and storing a looplike conveying body 1 arranged with an inspected object 3, an inspection part 16 arranged between the unwinding reel 19 and the winding reel 20 to conduct prescribed inspection for the inspected object 3 supplied sequentially, and a moving returning mechanism comprising a slider 13, a bracket 11, a connection bar 14 and a driving part 15 for transferring the inspection-finished inspected object 3 in a prescribed position outside the inspection part 16 to be set or to be returned to an original position, in order to confirm or remove the inspection-finished inspected object 3 according to an inspection result set preliminarily.
