DAMAGING DETECTION APPARATUS OF BELT CONVEYER

A damage detecting apparatus of a belt conveyer is provided to quickly detect failure of a return belt and to prevent a stone from falling by installing a sensing bar in adjacent to upper and lower surfaces of the return belt. A damage detecting apparatus of a belt conveyer comprises a carrier roller(101) supporting a carrier belt(110) transporting raw materials; a support plate(10) installed in a frame(100) supporting a return roller(102) supporting a return belt(111) returning to a drive pulley after transporting raw materials; a moving member(20) elastically installed on the front surface of the support plate by the medium of a first spring(11); a sensing bar(30) elastically installed at the end of the moving member by the medium of a second spring(31) and mounted close to the surface of the return belt; a sensing plate(32) mounted at the end of the sensing bar; and a sensor(40) combined to the frame in adjacent to the sensing plate. The sensing bar is respectively mounted on upper and lower surfaces of the return belt.
