An LCD is provided to decrease the number of data lines, thereby lengthen the distance between neighboring data lines and saving the manufacturing cost, by electrically connecting two or three pixels to one data line. A plurality of data lines(Dm,Dm+1) are formed in a first direction. A plurality of gate lines(Gn,Gn+1,Gn+2,Gn+3) are formed in a second direction. A plurality of control lines(CONT) are formed in the second direction, and separate a pair of odd and even gate lines from each other. A controller outputs a control signal through the control lines periodically. A first pixel and a second pixel are formed at both sides of each data line, and electrically connected to the data line. The first and second pixels are different from each other in a charging time of image voltage during every horizontal period. |
