<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication path switching control system and router apparatus in which various line control operations corresponding to line faults can be realized also at a low-order apparatus side by also notifying a low-order apparatus that is a communication apparatus to be connected to a router, of a line fault. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a communication path switching control system 1A which comprises a first IPGW 10A for accommodating and connecting a first PBX 9A and a first router 6A in charge of a communication interface between a network and the first IPGW, and in which when a line fault is detected on a communication path under use at present among a plurality of communication paths within the network, the first router searches for a communication path which bypasses the line fault, from the plurality of communication paths and switches a connection to the searched communication path. The first router comprises a switching information notification section 52 for notifying the first IPGW of path switching information relating to the connection switched communication path if the connection is switched to the searched communication path, and the first IPGW comprises a line control section 62 for controlling the line of the first PBX based on the path switching information if the path switching information from the switching information notification section is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
