METHOD, CIRCUIT, AND DISPLAY FOR SELECTIVELY CORRECTING GRAY-SCALE VALUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting gray-scale value correction, a correcting circuit, and a display device provided therewith. SOLUTION: A gray-scale value correction circuit is provided with a selection signal generating circuit and a gray-scale value selecting circuit. The selection signal generating circuit receives a gray-scale value of the current frame and a gray-scale value of the preceding frame, calculates a differential value between them, and generates a selection signal resulted from the comparison between the calculated difference value and a set reference value. The gray-scale value selection circuit outputs any one of the gray-scale value and the corrected gray-scale value of the current frame in response to the selection signal. The gray-scale correction method is embodied by the gray-scale value correction circuit.
