PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromotive cutter having good workability capable of easily and precisely performing work which performs the cutting parallel to a floor surface. SOLUTION: The electromotive cutter has an electromotor, a main body 10 having a dynamo built therein, the edge tool 20 rotationally driven by the electromotor, a saw cover 30 for covering at least a part of the edge tool 20, a base 40 having the bottom surface 40a connected to the saw cover 30 and capable of being slid on a material to be cut and a shaking shaft 50 almost parallel to the rotary shaft of the edge tool 20 and is constituted so that the main body 10 can be shaken centering around the shaking shaft 50 with respect to the base 40 and the edge tool 20 can be protruded from the surface 40a of the base. A support surface part having the surface almost crossing the shaking shaft 50 at a right angle is provided to the surface on the side opposite to the main body of the saw cover 30 and another constituent region is arranged on the side of the main body 10 of the support surface part.
