PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle-borne digital broadcasting receiver to receive/store additional data in an opportunity of running time becoming long. SOLUTION: A vehicle-borne digital-broadcasting receiver control unit controls the vehicle-borne digital-broadcasting receiver, and makes it download additional data such as an upgrade product program from a ground digital TV broadcasting electric-wave during a run of the route, after obtaining a user's permission, when only distance with a sufficient route with the good receiving environment of a ground digital TV broadcasting electric-wave continues on the guidance route to the destination.
