PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stick-pack for static crushing, and a water absorption method of a stick for static crushing capable of shortening the period of time required for water absorption by a stick for static crushing in which an expandable crushing material is accommodated in a water-permeable bag, high in workability, capable of effectively realizing the crushing force, and unnecessary for a large device. SOLUTION: The stick-pack for static crushing has a stick 30 for static crushing an expandable crushing material is accommodated in a water-permeable bag, and a packaging body 31 to vacuum-package the stick for static crushing. Further, in the water absorption method of the stick for static crushing in which the expandable crushing material is accommodated in the water-permeable bag, the stick for static crushing is accommodated in the packaging body 31 to vacuum-package the stick for static crushing, and the packaging body is unsealed in water 34.
