PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel that prevents dust from sticking on an alignment mark during rubbing processing and has high recognition capability of recognizing the alignment mark by an image processor. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display panel, the alignment mark 1 for positioning when a connection electrode formed at the terminal portion of the liquid crystal panel is connected to the electrode of an external connection terminal is formed nearby the terminal portion, and the liquid crystal display panel is characterized in that two or more dustproof marks 2, 2, ..., for preventing dust from sticking on the alignment mark 1 during the rubbing processing are formed outside the alignment mark 1, while being spaced apart from each another.
