PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of pressure switches for monitoring pressure increase during scavenging preparation operation for increasing the pressure in an airtight chamber to a predetermined value, in the scavenging operation of an inner pressure explosion preventing system. SOLUTION: The inner pressure explosion preventing system is formed of a manipulator 3 having the airtight chamber, a gas feeding section 2 for introducing inert gas into the airtight chamber, a gas discharging section 4 for sealing or releasing the gas from the airtight chamber, and a controller 1 for controlling the component sections. Herein the scavenging operation controller 1 has a timer for counting a time period of the scavenging operation by the gas feeding section 2 and the air discharging section 4.
