METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR LINKAGE OF DICTIONARY APPLICATION IN CONNECTION OF WIRELESS-INTERNET

A method and a system for linking with a dictionary application during wireless Internet connection are provided to enable a user to receive information for a word or a terminology at a reduced data communication charge during the wireless Internet connection without terminating a mobile browser by linking with the dictionary application. A display part(130) outputs the information received from an information providing device(170). An input part(120) receives a keyword included in the information and a search command for the keyword. A controller(140) generates a driving command for driving the dictionary application and a keyword search command by using the keyword and the search command. An application driving part(135) drives the dictionary application in background according to the driving command and receives keyword search result information according to the keyword search from the dictionary application by using the dictionary application. The keyword search result information is output through the display part by control of the controller.
