PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt attachment piece for a satchel which can prevent objects such as hair or the like from entering through a window of a case body holding swingable arms, and can help realize the weight reduction of the satchel while keeping its durability. SOLUTION: A belt attachment piece 4 includes a pair of arms 6 each of which is held by a support pivot 20 and comprises a disk section 10 and an attachment section 11 for holding a back belt 3, a window 17 through which the arms 6 are passed, and a pair of arc sections 18 at both ends of the window 17 each of which is formed along a circle with its central point being at one support pivot 20. This structure makes it possible to always maintain a fixed distance between the disk section 10 and the arc section 18 no matter what the angle of the arms 6 may be, and to reduce the gap between them as far as they are not in contact with each other. Therefore, this gap prevents foreign objects such as hair from penetrating through the window 17, and the support pivots 20 can be fixed higher than conventional ones on a case body 5 thereby the belt attachment piece 4 can be made more compact to achieve the total weight reduction.
