PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile type imaging equipment equipped with a housing constituted to move partially, and making miniaturization compatible with good operability. SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 is equipped with an equipment main body 3 having a grip part 7 and incorporating a photographic lens 13, and a cover part 4 moving between a protection position where it protects a part of the equipment main body 3 and an open position where it makes the part open. The equipment main body 3 has a back operation part 16 on a back side which is partially protected by the cover part 4, and the cover part 4 has a picture display part 11 of size large enough to occupy the back on the back, and protects the back operation part 16 and the photographic lens 13 at the protection position and exposes the back operation part 16 and the photographic lens 13 at the open position.
