摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supervisory system wherein a supervisory camera with an object tracking function is installed in a plurality of supervisory areas and a camera in charge of imaging an object is carried on to another camera, and simple and accurate takeover control is realized. SOLUTION: When a rotating angle (tilt and panning direction) of an optical axis of an imaging section of a camera 1a enters a takeover condition with a camera 1c, the camera 1a selects a takeover destination as the camera 1c, and transmits a takeover instruction (including rotating angle information of the imaging section) to the camera 1c and a takeover notice to a supervisory terminal (S51 to S57). The camera 1c obtains a takeover angle on the basis of the received rotating angle information to apply revolving control to the optical axis of the imaging section to its direction, and transmits a preparation end notice to the supervisory terminal (S58 to S63). The supervisory terminal makes an image transmission request to the camera 1c, and receives tracking supervisory image data from the camera 1c, and displays and records the data (S64 to S66).
