PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing and drying system capable of efficiently washing and drying with the minimum energy in washing and drying processes. SOLUTION: A controller 3 comprises: a drying ability table 31 having the energy consumption per unit time of a plurality of usable drying means 41 and drying ability information of each drying means 41; a storage part 32 for storing a drying start time and drying completion time which are acquired by using an input/output means 2; a timer 33 for acquiring time information; a schedule determining part 34 for determining a washing and drying schedule, based on the drying ability information, the drying start time, and drying completion time; a weather information acquisition part 36; and a drying ability acquisition part 35 for acquiring the drying ability of each drying means 41. The schedule determining part 34 generates the schedule by combining the drying means 41, so as to dry laundry with the minimum energy till the drying completion time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
