<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents distributing device capable of preventing improper duplication of contents by a malicious user. <P>SOLUTION: A contents distributing/printing system is provided with a contents distributing server 101, a PC 103 connected to the server 101 via the Internet 102, and a printer 104 connected to the PC 103 via an interface cable 107, and printing the contents by control of the PC 103.
