PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the security of images so that the third person is unaware that images which a user keeps secret to the others are recorded, in a camera device having a security function of photographic images. SOLUTION: In the case that camouflage is set when photographing a subject, regular photographic image data Pn recorded in a data area 32 of a pre-camouflage image file 14Pn is camouflaged by saving or embedding, and instead, dummy image data Pin resembling the regular image data Pn is recognized and selected from image data to which camouflage is not set, to generate a recorded post-camouflage image file 14Pin. In the case that an inputted password doesn't coincide with a preliminarily registered user password when reproducing recorded photographic images, the dummy image data Pin recorded in a data area 32 of the post-camouflage image file 14Pin being a reproduction object is reproduced and displayed without giving a warning (notification) of password non-coincidence neither inhibiting reproduction of recorded images.
