PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system management device, an information processor and a system management device redundant method, allowing achievement of a redundant configuration of the system management device at low cost by a simple system. SOLUTION: The information processor 1000 and the information processor 2000 each load one system management device. The respective system management devices are connected by a cable 3000, and confirmation of operation states is made to be periodically mutually performed. The two system management devices each normally monitor a state of a device loaded in each the information processor. When one system management device comes out of the operation state, the other system management device also additionally monitors the state of the device loaded in the other information processor.
