<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder which can prevent troubles caused by a rotatable carrying handle interfering sheets set to the recorder or the constituent element itself of the recorder. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 100 is equipped with the carrying handle 35. The handle 35 is provided in a freely rotatable manner when the printer 100 is seen sideways so as to reciprocate between the upper part and the rear part of the printer 100 and to stop in a first posture in the rotatable range. The first posture allows a holding part 37 to be positioned in an upper portion having a specified space relative to a paper support 69 to prevent the holding part 37 from coming into contact with the top-most recording sheet set to a sheet feeding device 1, thereby preventing failures in sheet feeding (non-feeding) due to the contact between the holding part 37 and the recording sheets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
