PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically improve a pump head and a discharge flow rate of a small-sized centrifugal pump in which assembling accuracy is hard to secure. SOLUTION: The small-sized centrifugal pump 1 is equipped with an impeller 6, a casing 3 for rotatably storing the impeller 6, and a drive mechanism 4 for rotating the impeller 6. The centrifugal pump 1 is structured so that fluid is sucked from a fluid intake port 14 opening toward the central part of the impeller 6, and pressurized fluid pressurized by the rotation of the impeller 6 is discharged from a discharge port 15 provided on the outer peripheral part of the casing 3. In the centrifugal pump 1, the impeller 6 is movably held in the axial direction, the rotating impeller 6 is displaced in the axial direction, and a gap 22, between a casing inside face 21 provided with the fluid intake port 14 and the impeller 6, is adjusted.
