METHOD FOR PRODUCING TRANSPARENT ELECTRODE USING DNA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily and efficiently producing an electrode having both optical transparency and electroconductivity, and to provide a transparent electrode produced by the method. SOLUTION: This production method comprises the steps of: forming a network structure of DNA on a substrate; transcribing the network structure of DNA onto a polymer; and electroless-plating the transcribed DNA. The production method can inexpensively produce the transparent electrode having the network structure of DNA on the surface of the polymer substrate having flexibility and high transparency.
