PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin layer glass layer laminate which can be produced inexpensively by a simpler operation, and also indicating a low oxygen permeability and a low steam permeability, and its production method. SOLUTION: The resin layer glass layer laminate comprises a glass layer and a resin layer, wherein the glass layer substantially comprises a glass-like substance containing an alkyl group and/or an aryl group, Si and O. The method for producing the resin layer glass layer laminate comprises the steps of coating a glass formation liquid substantially comprising the glass-like substance containing the alkyl group and/or the aryl group, Si and O, and an organic solvent on the resin layer, and next drying.
