PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cellulose acylate film having a good surface state and formed by casting its solution excellent in solution stability on a supporting body and peeling off the formed film in a short time. SOLUTION: This method for producing the cellulose ester film is provided by casting a cellulose ester solution obtained by dissolving the cellulose ester satisfying the following formulae and a polymer having a fluorine atom with a non-halogen-based solvent, on the supporting body and peeling off the cellulose ester film formed on the supporting body from the supporting body. Provided that the formulae are: 2.50≤A+B≤3.00, 0≤A≤1.75 and 1.25≤B≤3.00 [wherein, A is a degree of substitution of the acetyl groups based on the hydroxy groups in the cellulose; and B is a degree of substitution of a 3-22C acyl group].
