PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive both VHF and UHF broadcasting with a sharp image. SOLUTION: A UHF antenna 3 and a VHF antenna 4 are fitted to a rotary shaft rotatably driven by a rotation shaft drive means 5 while being set in the same direction. A position signal of its own ship detected by a position detection means 9 and an azimuth signal of its own ship detected by an azimuth detection means 10 are given to an arithmetic means 13. Further, a terrestrial station position storage means 14 stores in advance a position of a VHF terrestrial TV station and a position of a UHF terrestrial TV station. Then the arithmetic means 13 performs an arithmetical operation so that both the antennas 3, 4 are directed to the target terrestrial TV stations by changing directions of both the antennas 3, 4 on the basis of input signals from both the detection means 9, 10 and storage contents of the terrestrial station position storage means 14. Consequently, the arithmetic means 13 controls the rotary shaft drive means 5 on the basis of the arithmetic result. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
