PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform multiplex recording of a still image having a large volume of data on an information recording medium such as an optical disc along with a dynamic image or voice, and to perform reproduction of a still image efficiently while reducing burden of processing. SOLUTION: Entire stream including a plurality of partial streams each consisting of content information including still image information is multiplex recorded on an information recording medium in units of packet. The information recording medium comprises a file for storing object data consisting of a plurality of packets for storing fractions of content information, respectively, and a file for storing such information as defining the reproduction sequence of the object data. The object data includes packets for storing fractions of a still image information set containing still image information and its control information, respectively.
