Pyrazolopyrimidines as cyclin dependent kinase inhibitors

Disclosed are pyrazolopyrimidine compounds of formula (I), wherein; R is an optionally substituted heteroaryl, R2 is R9, alkyl, alkynyl, optionally substituted aryl, heteroaryl, CF3, heterocyclylalkyl, alkynylalkyl, cycloalkyl, -C(O)OR4, alkyl substituted with R9, and R3 is H, halogen, -NR5R6, -C(O)OR4, -C(O)NR5R6, optionally substituted alkyl, alkynyl, cycloalkyl, cycloalkylalkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, heterocyclyl, heterocyclylalkyl, heteroaryl. The compounds are used for the treatment of diseases mediated by cyclin dependent kinases.
