PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict vehicle operation based on detection of a misfire, when determining that throttle operation is frequently performed, when detecting the misfire on the basis of a change in an engine speed of an engine. SOLUTION: A misfire detecting part 42c of an ECU mounted on a saddle-riding type vehicle, includes an engine speed detecting means for detecting the engine speed of the engine, and a misfire detecting means for detecting the misfire of the engine on the basis of the engine speed of the engine detected by the engine speed detecting means. An exhaust gas deterioration determining part 42g includes an operation means for making the saddle-riding type vehicle perform predetermined operation in response to a detecting result by the misfire detecting means. A load variation detecting part 42b includes a throttle opening interlocking data acquiring means for successively acquiring throttle opening interlocking data of changing in response to a change in throttle opening of the engine, and an operation restricting means for restricting to make the saddle-riding type vehicle perform the predetermined operation by the operation means on the basis of the throttle opening interlocking data successively acquired by the throttle opening interlocking data acquiring means.
